Penultimate Saturday, Belvedere, the “world’s original super premium Vodka” hosted radio personality, television host and vlogger, Toke Makinwa to magnificent Sex and the City inspired birthday party.
Held at Oasis MedSpa Ikoyi, it was the cynosure of eyes as the crème de la crème of the entertainment world – media darlings, personalities and film stars turned out in glam force to toast Toke’s 30th.
The fun & frolics filled evening had just about everything – rib-cracking impromptu performance from Julius Agwu, a SATC quiz anchored by Eku Edewor, and a nostalgic game of Musical Chairs anchored by Denrele-Edun. Guests were treated to themed vodka cocktails – Cosmopolitans & Moscow Mules – courtesy of Belvedere Vodka with other spectacular treats including vodka infused yoghurt.

Canapés were served out of Martini glasses by Chef Eros; the Sex and the City theme didn’t stop there. Guests were treated to a complete Desert Table designed to incorporate the quintessential elements synonymous with the classic HBO series – martini glasses, city skyline, handbags, shoes, designer jewellery etc. The desserts consisted of cupcakes, macarons and cookies.
The cake was a two-tier sponge cake decorated with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps as its crescendo. Some of the guests at the event include Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Yaw of Wazobia FM, Gideon Okeke, Eku Edewor, Bolanle Olakanni, IK Ogbonna, Iceprince, Ann Ogunsulire, Jude Okoye and many more. By the end of the night, in true SATC style, Toke and her guests were ‘carried away’
