We Did Not Bribe Pastors With N6bn To Campaign For Jonathan – PDP

The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has declared that it did offer a bribe of N6bn to some Christian leaders for the purpose of helping President Goodluck Jonathan win the February 14 presidential election.

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Olisa Metuh, stated this at a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.
Metuh was reacting to a recent claim by the Director General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organisation, Rotimi Amaechi that the ruling party had bribed a group of clergy men with N6bn to campaign for president Jonathan.
