Champions League Review: Barcelona, Juventus Grab Narrow First-Leg Wins

Luis Suarez scored twice on his return to England, as Barcelona defeated Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad on Tuesday night.
The Uruguay striker, who left Liverpool for the Nou Camp last season, reacted quickest to a loose ball in the area, to power the Catalans into the lead.

Suarez doubled the lead shortly before half time, prodding home Jordi Alba’s cross, after excellent work from Lionel Messi.
Sergio Aguero pulled one back for the Premier League champions and there was enough time for Messi to miss from the spot.
In the other game of the night, Juventus beat Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in Turin. Carlos Tevez tapped in for the hosts, before Marco Reus pounced on a defensive error to draw the Germans level.
Alvaro Morata scored the winner before the break, following fantastic play down Juve’s left.
