The apex northern socio-cultural group, Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Monday described the recent statements on the forthcoming election credited to some Niger Delta ex-militants as irresponsible and a threat to national security.
In a statement issued by its national publicity secretary Muhammad Ibrahim in Kaduna, the group condemned the statement credited to the Niger Delta ex- militants: Alhaji Mujahideen Dokubo-Asari, Mr. Victor Ben Ebikabowei aka. Boy Loaf, and Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo.
The trio were quoted as saying that should Jonathan lose, it would be seen as direct attack on the Ijaw nation.
