Kenya Attack - Garissa Attacker Identified As Kenyan Law Graduate

Authorities in Kenya said Sunday they have identified one of the four dead al Shabaab gunmen who massacred nearly 150 people at Garissa University as a “brilliant” law graduate and son of a government official.

Interior ministry spokesman Mwenda Njoka named one of the attackers as Abdirahim Abdullahi, saying he was "a university of Nairobi law graduate and described by a person who knows him well as a brilliant upcoming lawyer".

The spokesman said Abdullahi's father, a local official in the northeastern county of Mandera, had "reported to the authorities that his son had gone missing and suspected the boy had gone to Somalia".
Describing Abdullahi as a high-flying A-grade student, Njoka said it was "critical that parents whose children go missing or show tendencies of having been exposed to violent extremism report to authorities".
Somalia's al-Qaeda-affiliated Shabaab militants claimed responsibility for Thursday's massacre at Garissa University, during which non-Muslim students were lined up and executed.
The massacre, which was the deadliest attack on Kenyan soil since the 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Nairobi, claimed the lives of 142 students, three police officers and three soldiers.
In addition to the gunmen killed, Kenyan security agencies have arrested five people in connection with the horrific attack which President Uhuru Kenyatta has described as a "barbaric medieval slaughter".
Police are, however, still searching for the person they believe masterminded the attack: Mohamed Mohamud, a former teacher at a Kenyan Madrassa Islamic school and who is also known by the names Dulyadin, Gamadhere and Kuno. Kenyan authorities have offered $220,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Although losing ground in Somalia, the Shabaab have stepped up attacks inside Kenya as well as its recruitment of youth, especially in the country's northeastern and coastal regions.

“All Women Are Prostitutes Not Only Actresses” Yoruba Actress ‘Bose’ Exposes

In an interview with Vanguard, Busty and controversial Yoruba actress Bose and producer disclosed why she named her soon to be released movie ‘Tani Asewo‘ which means ‘prostitute ‘ on English.

The actress went further to say that in her own understanding and believe, all women are prostitutes and she gave reasons to her thought…

check it out below

“It’s because people think that actresses are prostitutes. To say the truth, I believe that all women are prostitutes. People who think it’s only actresses should go to other fields and see what they do there.

To me, I still insist that every woman is a prostitute. People should go and watch my film, and they’ll know how. They should go to other fields, and they’ll see for themselves that those people are even worse than actors.

God gave me the inspiration and I did it. It was God’s saying. Besides, this is the fifth film I’m producing by myself. Besides, I noticed that everybody, both in the industry and outside, loved the title and the concept.

The movie aims to dispel the notion people have that all actresses are prostitutes. Between a banker, actress and police, who is the prostitutes?

Buhari - Your Money Is Safe Under Me

President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, has given assurances to Nigerians that he will handle state resources with utmost responsibility & honesty & would not condone the looting of public resources

He said this while receiving a delegation of the people from his home state, Katsina, who came to congratulate him winning the presidential election. Buhari said savings from his war against corruption would be ploughed into education with the objective of empowering citizens.

“If you give education to a man or woman, you have empowered them to be productive. There is no better way to empowerment,” Mr. Buhari said.

The President-elect, who exchanged banters with old schoolmates and kinsmen among the 130-odd delegation, spoke about his resolve to work with all Nigerians to pull Nigerians out of the current hardships facing them.

Mr. Buhari also expressed his commitment to multi-party democracy as the best system of government and appealed to all citizens to imbibe courage and perseverance, virtues he said, stood him in good stead in earning him victory after failing three times in the past presidential elections.
The leaders of the delegation, who spoke on the occasion, included the state Chairman of the Katsina State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mustapha Inuwa; a former Governor of the state, Saidu Barda, a leading Muslim cleric, a representative of federal legislators and a representative of the traditional institutions in the state.

They all pledged their support and commitment to the in-coming Buhari administration and promised to avoid the mistakes of others by imbibing humility and respect for all sections of the country.

President Jonathan's 2015 Easter Message To The Nation

Fellow citizens,
I greet you all, especially our Christian brothers and sisters,  as we celebrate Easter in commemoration of  the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For Christians all over the world, the major lessons of Easter, which we celebrate this year in the midst of general elections in our nation, are to be found in the Messiah’s Divine love and glorious self-sacrifice for the redemption of mankind.

This year’s celebration of Easter is taking place at a period of very critical national choices and decisions, during which we must all be prepared and willing to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace, political stability and progress in our beloved country.

We must therefore seize the opportunity of the Easter holiday to reflect deeply on what more we need to do as a people, to ensure that the political process in which we are currently engaged is successfully concluded and that our beloved country, Nigeria continues to move towards a better future for all of its citizens.

Happily, we have already successfully scaled the hurdle of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections.  I am quite hopeful that the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections will also be conducted peacefully.

To the glory and pride of our fatherland, our collective actions since March 28 have assured the world that the democratic spirit is alive and well in our nation.

By the grace of God, our beloved nation, Nigeria is moving forward despite all challenges.

Let us all pray this Easter, that God Almighty who has brought us this far, will continue to bless our nation as we  march onward towards the fulfillment of our collective vision of a truly united, strong and prosperous nation.

I wish you all very happy Easter celebrations.

10 Reasons To Vote Ambode As Lagos Governor - Nasir El-Rufai

This is According to the former Director General of The Bureau of Public Enterprises, the head privatisation  agency in Nigeria and also the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja who was reportedly in self-exile during the tenure of President Umaru Yar'Adua.

10 reasons why Lagos cannot afford to be in the opposition this time and/or controlled by PDP (a party that destroys anything and everything it touches):

see the 10 - reasons after the cut....

1. Federal Government is owing Lagos several billions of Naira. Lagos needs to be in sync with FG to get this paid.

2. All abandoned FGN buildings can be put to better use. FGN can be persuaded to embark on urban renewal and build new towns in Lagos as done in the Shagari era.

3. Lagos deserves Special Status as Economic Capital of Nigeria.

4. 70% of Nationally collected VAT is from Lagos. Yet Lagos gets no preference from FG when sharing.

5. Lagos hardly benefit from ecological funds even though it needs it more than any other state.

6. The only reason why Lagos residents are not enjoying 24hrs power is because it has been in the opposition. Lagos has the capacity to build IPP for Lagosians and deliver 24hrs power in a matter of 2 yrs.

7. PDP will only reverse the trend of progress. We have seen what they can do at the FG level.

8. Federal roads and bridges in Lagos need rehabilitation

9. All tribes are represented in Lagos and the social facilities are stretched thin.

10. Prosperity of Nigeria is tied to the prosperity of Lagos. This is common sense politics.

You agree?

ACF, Yoruba Forum Tackle Asari-Dokubo Over Threat To Return To The Creeks

Leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force, NDPVF, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, has come under fire from the Arewa Consultative Forum and the Yoruba Unity Forum, for threatening to return to the creeks with his people following the defeat of his kinsman, President Goodluck Jonathan, in last Saturday’s election.

Asari-Dokubo, who was rooting for Jonathan’s re-election, said with Muhammadu Buhari’s emergence as President-elect, militants might be forced to return to the creeks because the president’s defeat was a result of gang up against the South-South and South-East by the North and South-West geo-political zones.
In a statement by his spokesperson, Rex Anighoro, the ex-militant said, “The conditions that advanced the need to embrace the creeks have been sadly re-energised. It is clear that a vicious government which may maim and murder the voice of the so-called minorities may have just been birthed.
“The days coming will be critical. We shall study all the conditions and consult widely before determining the way forward for our collective existence and survival as a people. The days coming shall either drive the quest of integration or further separate us”.
In reaction to the threat in separate interviews with a PUNCH correspondent on Thursday, the ACF and the Yoruba Unity Forum described Asari-Dokubo’s statement as unfortunate, calling on the former militant leader to retract his statement and immediately apologise to Nigerians.
The Secretary-General, Yoruba Unity Forum, Senator Anthony Adefuye, said, “It is an unfortunate statement, and I am sure he is suffering from the loss of his party. Very soon, he will recover and apologise to the nation for saying so. He is on his own because even the Ijaw National Congress and other groups have already congratulated the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.
“Asari-Dokubo cannot be different. I just advise him to reconsider his statement and apologise to Nigerians”.
On his part, the ACF Chairman, retired Inspector-General of Police, Alhaji Ibrahim Coomassie, flayed Asari-Dokubo over the threat, reminding him that Mr. Jonathan had already said that he was not speaking on his behalf.
He said, “Those threatening violence are on their own and I am sure that law enforcement agents will be ready to arrest and prosecute them. If they do anything stupid, the laws are there to take care of them.
“But let me advise them, this is a new Nigeria and people are hoping for the best. All hands must be on deck to help the government to succeed. Let them think twice before they do anything foolish”.

Why I Voted Jonathan Out - Mercy Aigbe

Apparently, plenty celebrities have now revealed they never voted for GEJ to return.
Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe Gentry opened up on her reasons for not voting the incumbent president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, at the 2015 presidential election.
Speaking at a social media forum, the Papa Ajascoactress revealed that one of the reasons she joined other citizens to vote the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate,Muhammadu Buhari, was to show incompetent leaders that the public have the sole power to choose and determine who leads.
In her words, “We voted Jonathan out not because Buhari is a miracle worker, not because the alternative was the Best!! But so that incompetent leaders will know, fear and understand the people’s ability to select, Elect and De-Select.
“Why should we endure another four years with PGEJ simply because we fear the Unknown? If the Unknown comes in and performs at the same level or worse, we vote them out as well! Until our leaders start to lead correctly, we will continue to change them! Tears of joy for Nigeria, I am so proud of all of us! May god continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria” she dropped.
Aigbe-Gentry was one of the many Nigerian celebrities that took to the polling booths to exercise their civic responsibilities in casting their vote at the Nigerian presidential election that held on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

How Man Got Arrested For Shaving Woman’s Pubic Hair

A ‎35-year old man, identified as Ibrahim Adamu is currently in police custody in Benin for allegedly shaving the pubic hair of a 25-year old woman, Jumai Jasper, while sleeping in his room.
Edo State Police Commissioner, Samuel Adegbuyi, who paraded Adamu and 27 others at the ‎state police command headquarters on Wednesday, said the suspect lured the victim “into his room, shave her arm pit hair and her pubic hair without her consent.”

Adamu, a resident of Aduwawa community in Benin who hails from Funtua local government area of Katsina state, confessed to shaving the woman’s pubic hair while sleeping, but said that the woman was his girlfriend. Ibrahim Adamu paraded by Edo Police Command “I shaved the pubic hair of the woman because I wanted to sleep with her, she is my girlfriend,” he said.
He however denied that he did it for ritual purposes, adding that, he threw away the hair away afterwards. Ibrahim added that when the woman woke up and discovered that he had shaved off her hair, she demanded the hair but when he could not produce it, she raised alarm and the people around the place called the police ‎who arrested him immediately. The police commissioner said investigation was still ongoing into the case.

Buhari Victory Is North/Yoruba Gang-Up Against N-Delta, Igbo, Middle Belt – Groups

THE Niger Delta People Salvation Front /Niger Delta People Volunteer Force, (,NDPSF/NDPVF, led by Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari have  described the emergence of President-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari in the presidential election as a conspiracy of the North/Yoruba  against the Niger Delta, South East and Middle Belt.

The groups in a statement by Mr Rex Anighoro said, “It is not a victory of the people, but victory of regional conspiracy and supremacy.”

“It clearly  reinforces the fact of self determination and the truth that Nigeria remains a very divided and separated entity whose claim to unity remains a fraud of gargantuan proportion,” they asserted.

They said: “The voting pattern has clearly shown that the Gambari North and the Yorubas  are united in the conquest of the Niger Deltans and the Igbos of defunct Biafra with the Middle Belt now used as pawns. We remain a people separated by our ideologies and interests, we are not integrated nor reconciled.”

The groups asserted: “The conditions that advanced the need to embrace the creeks have been sadly re -energised, it is clear that a vicious government who may maim and murder the voice of the so called minorities may have just been birthed. Indeed integration is nonexistent as regional gang ups and supremacy is symbolic with this victory. ”

“The victory of Muhammadu Buhari is a historical reminder that we are a conquered people who are mere appendages existing at the pleasure of the supremacist and the regional overlords.

“We salute the gallantry and courage of Elder Godsday Orubebe, who spoke the truth to power on fact f our collective existence in this colonial union of convenience. He need not apologise to be politically correct having demonstrated to the world what a deception the Nigerian union is,” they said.

According to them, “While President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan enjoys his moments and bask in the euphoria of a now world renowned statesman having congratulated Muhammadu Buhari,  his conqueror, we must quickly remind that our struggle was never about Jonathan nor about Presidency. President Goodluck Jonathan was an establishment beneficiary of our struggle, our sweat and blood that many bled and died for.”

“He was never in the struggle and he can never wish away our collective march forward for statesmanship. Yes,  indeed to an extent, he was a  mitigating factor in self determination pursuit as we went on sabbatical, this mitigation he seems to have willingly repudiated.

“The days coming will be critical,  we shall study all the conditions and consult widely before determining the way going forward for our collective existence and survival as a people. The days coming shall either drive the quest of integration or further separate us,” they added.

Orubebe’s Fight For PDP

Iwas a show of confusion yesterday at the Abuja International Conference Centre (ICC) when a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe accused the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega of working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to win the 2015 presidential election.

The confusion started immediately after the commission reconvened for a continuation of the release of results by Collation Officers when Orubebe called for an observation, and when he was recognized, he began by calling for the INEC chairman to send a committee to investigate the claims of his party that results from some northern states were manipulated.

“We have lost confidence in what you are doing, you are very selective, you are partial and selective, we don’t believe in you any more. You have compromised, we will not take it from from you.
“We will not allow you, we will not allow this, Nigerians will not allow this, we will not allow this until something is done.

“Jega is partial, we will not take it, let Jega set up a committee to go to Kano, Katsina, Jigawa and Kaduna to investigate our objections with the elections there as he did to River State where the APC raised an issue. Jega has nothing to say here, he has nothing to say, let him go back to his office” said an angry Orubebe who even refused to allow Jega to explain what happened.

The former minister also seized the microphone and sat on the ground even as he warned everybody including the security agents present not to come close to him.

However when the drama which lasted for about about 20 minutes subsided, the INEC chairman who sat calmly throughout, simply told Orubebe to always be mindful if his conduct in public especially as a former minister of the federal republic.

“Mr. Orubebe let me say that you must be sure of the comments you make and as a former minister of the Federal Republic, you must know how to conduct yourself in publuc”. Jega told Orubebe.
