London club, Arsenal, are officially the FA Cup kings in England as they secured an unprecedented 12th title on Saturday, beating Aston Villa 4-0 in the 2015 finals played at the Wembley stadium.
Though the Gunners were the favourite going into the finals, some analysts were predicting a Villa upset.
The Gunners however turned on style on Saturday as they dominated from start to finish.
Goals from Theo Walcott, Alexis Sanchez, Per Mertesacker and Olivier Giroud saw Arsene Wenger smiling as he became the most successful manager in modern times in the FA Cup.
The French Coach now has 6 wins, one ahead of Sir Alex Ferguson.
In Saturday’s largely one-sided final, Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 40th minute through England star Walcott.
Not long into the second half Sanchez doubled Arsenal’s lead with a thumping shot from 25 yards that swerved into the net.
Arsenal took the game off the reach of Villa as Mertesacker nodded in the third goal.
Villa’s chances of coming back into the game were extinguished as substitute Giroud made it four for Arsenal.
By leading Arsenal to victory, Wenger becomes only the second manager to win the FA Cup on six occasions. Villa, meanwhile, missed out on the chance to win their eighth title and first since 1957.
