Kiss Daniel, Slyde, Lil Kesh Others To Rule 2015

In ‎2014, a lot of upcoming acts released songs with little or no fan base and to the surprise of many, they became stars with Lil Kesh, Kiss Daniel, Slyde, Runtown and Reekado Banks as the stand out stars. ‎

Lil Kesh
With shoki dance gaining grounds in Lagos, ‎the YBNL act jumped on the street dance and
released a song titled after the dance, shoki. ‎
With a remix featuring man of the year, Davido, and label head, Olamide, ‎the song became a nationwide anthem, thus, the youngster performing at major shows across Africa.
No wonder Olamide keeps drumming it to everyone ear that Lil Kesh is the rookie of the year at every given opportunity. ‎
To prove critics wrong, he released a few tracks including Lyrical. ‎With the growing influence of Olamide in the industry, Lil Kesh has 2015 locked down for him and will have himself to blame if he failse to shine.
Reekado Banks‎
From wining the Headies award ‘Rookie of the year’, and the support of one of Africa’s biggest
music producers, Donjazzy, Rekado Banks moves into 2015 with a lot of expectations from music fans and experts.
Born Solomon Ayoleyi Hanniel,‎ his talent was noticed on the ‘Dorobucci’, Adaobi, ‎and his single “Turn It Up” featuring Tiwa Savage‎.
With Donjazzy known for helping artistes churn out hits, we expect a hit song with at least 2 other recognised songs from the University of Lagos student in 2015.
‎Slyde
The song ‘Banana’ was an instant hit at clubs and on radio stations with many wondering who the

singer was.
Little known Slyde, who will have to work on his brand and presence in the industry, hit the studio with serial hit maker, Timaya, for Banana remix and a video.
He narrowly missed the Headies Rookie of the Year to Reekado Banks despite fans and critics tipping him for the award especially hitting limelight without a known force behind him.
With a new single and hope of building on the success of Banana, Slyde, moves into 2015 with a whole lot of expectations.
RunTown
After blessing music lovers with Gallado – featuring Davido- and also writing Davido’s 2014 hit single, Aye, Runtown will definitely build on his success of 2014 to seal his place as a musical star in 2015.
To prove that he’s not a local champion, the Eric Manny artiste team up with South-Africa’s wave making producer, Uhuru, for his new single, Banger.
Remember he was on the award wining “Best collabo song” of the year at Headies Awards- Emergency by WizzyPro featuring Skales, Patoranking and himself.
If you still think 2014 was a fluke for RunTown, sources close to the act says 2015 is his year.
Kiss Daniel
Emperor Geezy, who owns G-worldwide is a man who goes for talent. He did a good job with rapper, Iceberg slim, and now, Kiss Daniel.

While many music lovers slept on the song ‘Woju’ until recent Twitter/online promo and the much anticipated remix featuring O.B.O himself, Davido, Kiss Daniel has become the new bride.
With Woju enjoying massive airplay and reviews and a remix ready for release in 2015, Kiss Daniel has set the pace for 2015 already coupled with enough financial backing from his label boss, Kiss Daniel who came into the scene late, has 2015 locked down.
