Thank You Donal Trump

Dear Donald,
You've said some pretty offensive things about Latino immigrants recently, and I think they're worth addressing. Because, you know, this is the United States of America, where I have a right to speak up even if I'm not a billionaire. Isn't that awesome?
Anyway, I heard what you said about the kind of people you think Latino immigrants are -- people with problems, who bring drugs, crime and rape to America. While your comments are incredibly ignorant and racist, I don't want to spend my time chastising you. I'll leave that to your business partners like Univision and NBC, who have the power to scold you where it hurts. Instead, I'm writing to say thank you!
You see, what you just did with your straight talk was send more Latino voters to the polls than several registration rallies combined! Thank you for that. Here we are pounding the pavement to get American Latinos to the polls, while your tactic proves most effective. Remarks like yours will serve brilliantly to energize Latino voters and increase turnout on election day against you and any other candidate who runs on a platform of hateful rhetoric.
Do you know why that's such a big deal, Donald? Because Latinos are the largest, youngest and fastest-growing constituency in the United States of America. That's right! You are running for President in a country where the Latino population grew by over 49 percent from 2000-2012, while the rest of the country grew by 5.8 percent. What's more, we are the future. The median age of the average Latino is 27 years old, compared to 42 years old for white Americans. In case you need a translation, that means there are a whole lot of Americans who are Latino and have the right to vote. And, we're not going anywhere.
This is the America we are actually living in. I hope by now you understand that without the Latino vote, there is no chance of you ever winning this election. If you don't believe me, you could ask President Bush or you could even ask President Obama.
You, Mr. Trump, are living in an outdated fantasy of a bigoted America. Last week, America celebrated some amazing milestones -- marriage equality, universal healthcare, removing of the confederate flag -- making it clear in which direction the country is moving. That is why racist remarks that play to extremists won't change the tide, no matter how hard you try. They will only serve to rally more Latino voters to the polls. Your negativity and your poorly thought out speech ignited a fire in our community. Thank you, Mr. Trump!
Thank you for reminding us that there remains an antiquated and endangered species of bigots in this country that we must continue to combat. Thank you for reminding us to not sit complacently at home on election day, but to run to the polls and proclaim that there is no place for your brand of racial politicking in our government. Thank you for sending out the rallying cry.
You have made your thoughts on the Latino community clear and you continue to stand by them. And in return, we will do more than tweet about our indignation and beat piƱatas of your likeness. We will silence you at the polls. We will vote and use our growing position in U.S. politics. Our fellow Americans who understand and value our contributions will join us. We know there is nothing that scares you more.
The truth is, Mr. Trump, that your comments mean that you fail to see that immigrants are what have made this nation. They are at the core of our ideals, and they are the foundation that keeps us afloat. No, Mr. Trump, you may not reduce us to drug dealers and rapists. We are moms and dads, sons and daughters. We are valedictorians and honor students. We are college graduates, bankers, police officers, entertainers, teachers, journalists, politicians and we are the future of America.
Thank you for helping us in our work to energize the Latino vote and to usher in our shared future! Keep it up!
Sincerely,
America

Woman Sues WWE Wrestling For Her Son`s Death

The mother of former WWE superstar Doink the Clown is suing the WWE, claiming her son suffered serious brain injuries in the ring that led to his death, and the WWE ignored the problem.
Doink, real name Matthew Osborne, died from a drug overdose in 2013, but in her lawsuit, Doink's mother says his drug addiction was a result of years of concussions he sustained while wrestling.
TMZ;
Doink's mother says the WWE knew about the dangers of the brain injuries that has plagued WWE wrestlers for years, and says the organization could have helped her son seek proper treatment.
Doink's mom says the WWE did create a program in 2006 called the "Wellness Program"  but says it only deceived her son by creating a false sense of security that led him to NOT get adequate treatment for his problems.
But the most dramatic part of her suit, Doink's mom says Vince McMahon has essentially turned a blind eye to the scores of WWE superstars who have died young over the years ignoring huge warning signs that could've saved her son and others.
She lists dozens of examples ... including the Ultimate Warrior, Mr. Perfect, Crush, Bam Bam Bigelow, Eddie Guerrero, Randy Savage, Big Boss Man, Yokozuna, Chris Benoit and more.
Doink's mom is suing for wrongful death, fraud and negligence.
A lawyer for the WWE told the Dallas Morning News, the suit has no merit and accuses Doink's family of simply trying to get "NFL money."

Boko Haram Killed Over 100 Muslins Praying In Mosques

Although the Muslim faithful are in the Holy month of Ramadan, Islamist group Boko Haram were not curbed from carrying out attacks as they shot and killed nearly 100 Muslims praying in mosques in Kukawa, 180 kilometers northeast of Maiduguri, Borno State shortly before iftar on Wednesday.
The attack happened after the militants struck a village 35 kilometers away where they killed another 48 men and boys, the Associated Press reports, citing witnesses.
The gunmen killed 97 people, mainly men, according to said self-defense spokesman Abbas Gava. A senior government official also confirmed the killings to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity as he was not allowed to speak to journalists.

Amy Willerton Shows Off Her Toned Curves As She Appears Almost Naked Daring Nude String Bikini

She has no reason to hide in the shade. And Amy Willerton put on yet another stunning display as she kicked back on the beach on her Ibiza holiday on Monday.
The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star, 22, looked incredible as she flaunted her toned, lean and lovely body in a barely-there bikini.

It was certainly one of the more risque beachwear choices she could have gone for, but the model and TV personality pulled it off with panche, thanks to her svelte figure.
The triangle top of the bikini allowed her to show off her ample cleavage, and the string bottoms were as tiny as could be, displaying her lean thighs and shapely derriere.

Osun APC - PDP Is The Number One(1) Corrupt Party In African

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Osun State has alleged that the immediate past Peoples Democratic Party PDP-led government as people whose looting of government finances is ”unequalled in the history of corrupt governments in Africa.

“Yet, some of the beneficiaries of this looting spree across Nigeria, especially in Osun State, still have the effrontery to mock the victims of their crimes by shifting blames of this catastrophe on a government that had done the best for the people in Osun since this state was created,” the APC said.

The Director Publicity of APC, Mr Kunle Oyatomi was reacting to the publication yesterday in many national newspapers that over three trillion naira of NNPC fund was not paid into the federation account by the immediate past minister of petroleum, Mrs Dieziani Allison-Madueke.

The party stated that, “The leadership of the PDP in Osun were recipients of the looted funds which would have been available to pay salaries if the PDP government of Goodluck Jonathan did not steal such humongous sums and wasted the nation’s resources in the most expensive party campaign for retaining political power that has ever been   seen in the continent of Africa.

The statement read in part: “From the NNPC alone,  trillions of Naira is said to be missing. The ex-minister of Finance was also alleged to have spent billions of dollars without authorization not to talk of other agencies of the Federal Government which joined in the looting spree.’’

Nigeria EFCC Gives 10,000 Euros Back To Victim Of Internet Scam

Omodara Adedapo Oluseye                                                  Adesuyi Ayodeji Adedapo
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered and returned the sum of 10,000 Euros (Ten Thousand Euros) about Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira), to F. Mercade, a French citizen, who was victim of internet love scam.

The fund was wired to the victim through his account in France on the recommendation of the French Embassy in Nigeria.Roger Balima, French Police Liaison Officer who confirmed the receipt of the funds by the victim, thanked the EFCC “for the good job.”

Mercade was duped by two internet fraudsters, Omodara Adedapo Oluseye and Adesuyi Ayodeji Adedapo after he was deceived into a phantom relationship that was supposedly alter-bound.

The scam was reported to the Commission via a petition from the French Consulate in Lagos, on behalf of Mercade.

The petitioner alleged that he met a Nigerian beauty by name, ‘Kate Williams’ on the internet sometime in 2009 and they developed a relationship which was to culminate in marriage.

‘Williams’ was to relocate to join Mercade in France, to consummate the relationship. While Mercade planned the logistics of the relocation, ‘Williams’ who purportedly did some jobs for an unnamed company in Nigeria, came up with a story that the company refused to pay ‘her’ for job done.

‘She’ sought the assistance of Mercade and the ‘couple’ contacted a lawyer named ‘James Robert’, to procure traveling documents and also help her claim money from the company owing her.

Mercade parted with the sum of 25,000.00 Euros, through Western Union, in processing his brides’ passage with no bride in sight. Eventually, it dawned on him that he had been scammed.

Investigations into the matter by the Commission revealed that ‘Kate Williams’ is the pseudonym of Omodara Adedapo Oluseye, a male student of the College of Agriculture, Akure, who, however, resides in Ibadan Oyo state.

Omodara’s accomplice, Adesuyi Ayodeji Adedapo, assisted in collecting the money transferred by the victim from the Akure, Ondo State branch of a new generation bank, using forged drivers’ license.

The duo were prosecuted on a two count charge of conspiracy and obtaining money by false pretences before a Federal High Court Lagos, convicted and sentenced on 13th June 2011, to one year imprisonment each without an option of fine.

Wimbledon Champion Rafael Nadal Lost To German Dustin Brown

Rafael Nadal (left) became the highest-profile casualty of this year's Wimbledon tonight after slumping to a 7-5 3-6 6-4 6-4 defeat to dreadlocked German Dustin Brown (right and bottom right). Tenth seed Nadal (watched on by girlfriend Xisca Perello, inset top left), the 2008 and 2010 champion in SW19, lost his only previous encounter with Brown on grass in Halle last year - and he fell to the flamboyant world number 102 once again.
Brown's unconventional style included shots that will not be found in any tennis coaching manual, but it made for a thrilling spectacle against the out-of-form Spaniard, who had been a possible quarter-final opponent for Andy Murray.
Centre Court spectators were torn between cheering the ever-popular Nadal, an enduring favourite, or the showman Brown who revealed a large tattoo of reggae singer Dennis Brown on his torso when changing his top. Speaking after the finest victory of his career, the 30-year-old said: 'My plan was to come here and play good tennis. I didn't think about anything past that.'

Nigeria Musician LadyOne - I Just Have To Counter Flavour

Rising female singer, Chinyere Ugwu, a.k.a, LadyOne is all out to establish her own empire in the Nigerian music scene. The Enugu State-born singer whose recently released album, “Flavour Why” has been the talk of the town has opened up on the idea behind the song.

According to her,  “I do not like the way Flavour talks about women in his songs. I would say that I’m   defending Nigerian women  through my music because it seems all the male singers like to embarrass the womenfolk in their various songs.

I want to use my music to counter the way Flavour dehumanize  women in his songs. So in my music, I asked him what he wants us to do for him or he should stop saying all those things he talks about women in his songs.”
Surprisingly, since LadyOne released her album, Flavour has not reacted to it. In her words, “Unfortunately Flavour has not said anything about the song since I released it. I have no problem with him. I still remain a big fan of him, I love his music.
My single which speaks against the way he talks about women is just a way of expressing my feelings.  I love all his songs.”LadyOne said, she has a desire to stand out in the industry with her own kind of music. This, she said, is because “I believe that my dancing skills will differentiate me from others. I will also try as much as possible to sing reasonable songs.
I have found out that some people come into the industry to make a noise with little or no message in their songs.”
Describing herself as  “a very jovial person”LadyOne said, she looks up to female singers like Tiwa Savage, Waje, among others. “I see most of the female artistes in the industry as my mentors. I also see myself as a woman activist in the industry,” she said. An Economic graduate of Imo State University, LadyOne started singing from childhood.

60Km/Hr, The New Speed Limit For Petroleum Tanker Trucks - FRSC Announce

Petroleum tanker drivers under the umbrella of  the Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas (NUPENG) have pegged the maximum speed limit for their trucks at 60km/hr.
The Petroleum tanker drivers’ decision was announced by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) at a meeting with stakeholders in the downstream sector on Wednesday.
Although, the FRSC had earlier announced an official speed limit for truck drivers at 75km/hr.
They noted that the development was as a result of the death of at least 10 students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University and other recent crashes involving petroleum tankers and trailers.
The FRSC and NUPENG also threatened to restrain movement of the tanker drivers without the speed limiters or reflective tapes from September 1, 2015.
The Agency also collaborated with the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) to ensure adequate capacity development training among officers.
However, the FRSC Corp Marshall, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, equally warned haulage operators that no unstrapped container would be allowed to leave the ports henceforth.

Couple Shock As Stowaway Migrant Jump Out Of Wardrobe

A couple had an almighty shock when a stowaway migrant jumped out of the wardrobe in their camper van after they arrived back into the UK following a touring holiday in France.
Christine Seward, 75, and her husband, Geoffrey, 86, tried to stop the illegal immigrant escaping after he burst out of the cupboard as they drove through Plymouth, Devon.
The pair had just come off a ferry from Roscoff in Brittany, France, and were driving towards their home in Exmouth, Devon, when they heard a bang.
Mrs Seward believed she had forgotten to shut the wardrobe door properly so went to investigate – only to discover the young man stood in the darkness of the cupboard.
She said: 'It was very frightening. It was so scary.  'I said to him "I will call the police". He said "No police, no money".  'With a bit of push and shove, I managed to stop him getting out of the side door.
'But he pushed a bit harder and jumped on and over the passenger seat and out through the cab door and started running.'
The Sewards believe the man managed to sneak on board their van and hide in their wardrobe as they prepared to drive off the ferry on June 11.
After the man had fled, the couple parked up and phoned the police to report the incident. Officers were sent to the scene but were unable to trace him after he fled in darkness.
Mrs Seward said: 'When I called the police, I could hardly speak on the phone I was so shocked.  'We shook for about an hour, we just couldn't believe it.' She said she had spotted the man on the ferry during the six-hour crossing and believes he must have slipped on before disembarking.
Mrs Seward left the van's passenger door open as she went to help her husband with the car they were towing behind before they got off the ferry. She is now warning other holidaymakers travelling back from France to be extra-vigilant.
'We are just very fortunate that he didn't steal any belongings or passports or money,' she said.
She added that her daughter does volunteer work helping asylum seekers in Croydon, south London.
'We both really felt for this guy,' she said.
'He had nothing on him apart from the clothes on his back.
'So many of these immigrants are coming in that I feel terribly sorry for them - but they have to come through the right channels.'

Popular Nigerian comedian, MC Abbey, in a recent interview, has disclosed that comedy has gradually grown to become a widely accepted profession in Nigeria. He also said the industry has been able to provide jobs for youths in the country.

MC Abbey stated that people now see comedians as professionals, not as school dropouts they used to see them as.

According to him, “People now see us as professionals; we are not dropouts or people who are idling away. It is now seen as a business, our passion and profession and so people see us in that light.”

Bomb Explode Near The Hospital Nigeria Vice President Visited In Maiduguri

Maiduguri - Two suicide bombers blew themselves up near a hospital in Maiduguri in northeast Nigeria on Wednesday, shortly after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo arrived in the city to visit camps for people fleeing a militant Islamist insurgency.
The blasts injured two people and happened at about 11:30 (10:30 GMT) near the gates of a hospital where suicide bombers killed three people and injured 16 last Saturday, a military source and a witness told Reuters.
"The second blast occurred two minutes after the first one, killed the bomber and injured two other people nearby," said Mohammed Haruna, who helped to evacuate people from the scene.
Maiduguri has been the target of several attacks since Muhammadu Buhari, president of Africa's most populous nation and biggest economy, made it the command centre for the campaign against Boko Haram militants after being inaugurated on May 29.
It was not immediately clear whether the bombers had been targeting the hospital again or whether the bombs had gone off by accident.
The hospital is one of the few public buildings in an area called Molai, which is on the outskirts of Maiduguri and where security is not always as tight as in the centre of the state capital of Borno.
Osinbajo was visiting a camp about 10 km away that houses around of the 1.5 million people displaced by Boko Haram during the militant group's six-year fight to establish an Islamic caliphate in the northeast.

Woman Give Birth To A Baby In Forest All Alone

Amber Pangborn, 30, of Oroville, Calfifornia, went into labour and gave birth to her daughter alone in the Plumas County National Forest after her car ran out of fuel.

Unfortunately, there was also no signal to call for help, she told NBC-affiliate KCRA-TV in Sacramento.

Amber had been rushing to her parent’s home after she went into labour, and decided to take an unfamiliar shortcut through the woods when she became lost, the new mother recalled.

After defending her baby from bees and mosquitoes, and surviving on a few apples, Amber managed to start a fire that caught the attention of a U.S. Forest Service worker.

“I was just crying, and I was just so happy.

I thought we were going to die,” the brave mother said.
The mother and daughter are expected to be reunited in the coming days.

The Rock Has A Lot To Offer, Trasitioning From Wrestling To Acting And To Music

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson rips his shirt off while posing for the cover of Esquire‘s August 2015 issue and the 43-year-old actor had quite a lot to talk about.
In the August cover story, Dwayne Johnson talks about “the Rock,” football, acting, working out, self-doubt, success, gratitude, his new series Ballers and balls.
Read excerpts below...
On transitioning from wrestling to acting: “I’ve been through all this other sh-t before. I never quite understood why if you’re successful in something, and then you want to make the transition to Hollywood, why wouldn’t you apply the same discipline and processes that you did with wrestling and football? Which meant: surround myself with great acting coaches; definitely get a good director; I need great actors around me to help me raise my game; I don’t know what the f–k I’m doing… I have been told I have potential. I think I do. Let’s give it a go. And that allows more people to say, ‘Okay, let’s give it a shot.’ Compared to: I think I’m gonna be great. I’m gonna make 30, 40 movies.”
On his high pitch singing voice: “In Polynesian culture, the men run 300, 350 pounds and the women are even bigger. But Polynesian men are known for singing in a pitch that is soft falsetto singing. It sounds amazing. That’s just how they sing, at a very high pitch in an octave that’s very falsetto and soft. I fool them with my voice. I’m singing in Disney’s next animated musical, called Moana.”
On a special letter he received: “About three weeks ago, I’m here at the house and I get a letter—’Been enjoying your movies over the years. Very entertaining. I feel like I’ve really gotten to know you over the years, most recently after watching you host Saturday Night Live. Great job. You continue to go for it. Proud of your work and look forward to meeting you. Steven Spielberg.’”
